Ross has also received awards as the co-founder of UK based interiors homewares brand, ‘The Curious Department’.

Ross designs eccentric, nature-inspired homewares which are sold globally. The Curious Department has received awards, accolades from The Evening Standard, The Sunday Times, Living Etc, The UK Interior Awards and Top Drawer.

The Curious Department has collaborated with leading brands including Pure White Lines, Sofa.com, Rothchild & Bickers, GPLAN and Soho Home. You can watch his three part YouTube decorating diaries series filmed with Lick Paint here.

Today The Curious Department has 40k+ followers on Instagram that regularly tune in to their stories showcasing room transformations.

CREATING CHANGE…

Ross sits on the Iris London Board and in addition has a seat on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion board. Ross has set up Iris Pride365, a dedicated LGBTQ+ network. Ross regularly appears in panels and as a guest speaker raising awareness around best practice and conversations within the industry.

NEXT GEN…

Ross has also had a huge impact on individuals and the industry. He has built meaningful connections with advertising schools including Falmouth & Brixton Finishing School. Offering 3rd year cohort’s the opportunity to be an extension of the agency creative department. Live client briefs have included Scholl, Adidas x Peloton & Pizza Hut.

Ross speaks at Falmouth University regularly and has an ongoing relationship with D&AD and the D&AD SHIFT programme too.

Amongst a prestigious line up of judges, Ross was invited to the jury to judge ‘Digital’, ‘Out of Home’ ‘PR’ and ‘Integrated’ categories at the festival.

Ross has cultivated an ongoing relationship with D&AD since graduating. Whether it’s judging, hosting D&AD Shift, Creative Equals or talking at events. Ross took great pride in his role as ‘President of the Jury’ for New Blood in the ‘Side Hustle’ Category.
