The Rimmel London Look International Contest extended an invitation to makeup fans across the world to share their London inspired makeup looks. In return they could win the trip of a lifetime - the chance to visit London and find out first hand what ‘The London Look’ really means at the Vlogger summit in London.
Entry was easy, all you had to do was show us your London look using the London Look hashtag for your chance to win. Over 14000 entries were submitted across the world!
All of The London Look entries were aggregated on a rimmel.com microsite where people could vote for their favourites.
22 lucky winners from Rimmel’s global markets were jetted to London to experience the trip of a lifetime and learn how to become a blogging superstar at the YouTube studio!
Rimmel’s stylist and makeup artists were on hand offering trend insights and seminars along with technical support from the YouTube studio, even Rita Ora came along for the day to answer Q&A’s and spend time getting to know our new army of Rimmel ambassadors.
The 3 day event was designed to maximise content creation opportunities. Bloggers were given a VIP Rimmel branded tour of London. The YouTube space was created as an interactive playground for our bloggers to encourage them to create tutorials and posts.
The winners also each got to create their own high end makeup tutorial inspired by their trip to London. Technical experts were on hand to add that professional finish to our bloggers videos.
The Results: 14000 'London Look’ inspired makeup entries flooding the internet on the run up to the event. 22 content producing winners across 22 key markets globally. 22 professionally shot makeup tutorials, and a loyal army of 22 international bloggers.
